GBTU's ANNUAL TRIP TO AVALANCHE, WI – September 22 & 23, 2017

Summer is winding down.  That means that the sun is not quite as bright, so the fishing gets even better.  Knowing that, it's time to head back to the spring-fed steams of the Driftless Country.  GBTU will be camping at the West Fork Sportsman's Club in Avalanche, Wisconsin on September 22 and 23.  You can pay membership and camping fees at a station right in front of the main building.  For information and directions go to www.westforksportsmansclub.org   

For those of you who would prefer not to camp, Kurt has the 1 remaining cabin at Sportsman's on hold.    The small cabin (no bath, but near the camp shower facilities) is $60 per night.  I can hold this for a short period, and will assign to anyone who contacts me first.  Kurt has also reserved one of the large shelters (near the cabins) just in case it rains.

We will hold a group barbeque on Saturday night.  Bring your own meat and a side dish to share for that night.  All other meals will be on your own, as you would like, since members have expressed a preference for spending time on the water rather than going to a restaurant at a set time.
