The Roundhouse in Decorah, Iowa
This trip is one of the best we offer in spectacular Iowa - the Iowa Driftless Area- with some great fishing! Just ask those who have gone in the past! This year the trip is scheduled for October 5-8. It is a unique and comfortable setting in the rolling hills of Iowa. The geodesic dome sleeps many in a couple of individual bedrooms (All booked), and bunk rooms on the lower level. if you are interested in attending, contact Seth Horowitz to get on the list. (email: Seth@SethHorowitz.com or, phone: 847-624-2150) Again, this is a first come, first served basis. Generally, when we have had more than 8 people (building sleeps around 14) the accommodation cost usually lands around $150 for the weekend, depending upon the number attending, which is a bargain for some memorable fishing. Right now, we have 6 confirmed
Just FYI

This per night cost PLUS food is split equally amongst us. Depending on the size of the group the trip is on average, usually between $150 to $200 per person for the all-in-whole stay. This is an incredible deal. Please bring a check or cash to pay Seth on Saturday after he has figured out the total cost...

Thursday – On your own! Some folks also find good places to eat in Decorah, like Mabes Pizza
Friday - because people arrive at various times throughout the day and into the night, food is "on your own."  Some folks stop at restaurants on the drive in, some bring a steak to cook on the outdoor barbeque. (I hear it’s a nice one)
Also there is a good Mexican place in town kitty corner to Mabes Pizza
Saturday
Breakfast –
GBTU provides simple fixings - milk, a couple of kinds of cereal, frozen breakfast sandwiches, coffee, donuts, etc.
Lunch   -
GBTU provides sandwich fixings - bread, cold cuts, cheese, apples, bananas, small bags of chips, baggies.

Dinner –
Group dinner lasagna (2 kinds; Veggie and Meaty), salad, garlic bread, some type of dessert pie

Sunday
Breakfast and Lunch fixings provided the same as Saturday.
Folks pack their lunch and fish on the way home.

The cost of the food was added to the rental cost then shared equally by those in attendance.  We can give an estimate before arrival but calculate the final amount on Saturday and collect checks from everyone on Saturday night.
Leftover food will be split up with all who want to take it home
Note:  Do NOT plan to cook eggs and bacon in the morning. For two reasons: (1) folks want to get out onto the streams, and (2) no one wants to do the dishes in the morning, for reason # 1.
Also, bring water and adult beverages if you desire, and even if you don’t.
Tight lines y’all
