The OBTU chapter invites everyone to their 50th anniversary celebration from 2 to 6pm on Saturday, August 12. This celebration takes place at Central Park in Oak Brook (1500 Forest Gate Road, Oak Brook, IL.)

Admission is free, and will be a great party!!!  We encourage all our GBTU members to attend, as this will be a wonderful event you won’t want to miss.

Festivities include:

- Family Activities, Vendor Displays/Demos, and TU Information Displays (starting at 2:00pm). 

- Entertainment by Jeff Troutman and the Parachute Adams Band (3:00pm).

- Keynote Address by Chris Wood, TU National President and CEO (4:00pm)

- Food and Refreshments

- Opportunity to mingle with Chris Wood and share fishing stories with OBTU members (till 6:00pm) 

This event offers everyone a good time while raising public awareness of Trout Unlimited’s good work.  

The Gary Borger Chapter will have a table at this event, to promote our upcoming activities and conservation projects. We are looking for another volunteer to help us with this - if you are interested please contact Dina Lissner Nanberg
